For over eight years, I have been working to become a professional accomplished historian, teacher of the social sciences, and mentor to students. I currently have an A.A., B.A., and M.A. all in social science (history), while also holding multiple majors and certificates in other areas, making me a well-rounded educator. For the last three years, I have been a teacher’s assistant in which I composed essay and exam questions and graded papers at the collegial level. In the last two years, I have been the leading social science tutor in the Student Athlete Association Center at FIU, where I aid students in the subject of social science, many of them are at risk academically and with learning impediments, to whom I have been of great help and been able to improve their learning capabilities and grades.
